Six silver and silver coloured boxes and cases, comprising: an Art Deco square powder compact by David Sutton & Sons, London 1946, 9cm (3 1/2in); a French silver circular box, 18387-1972 1st standard, embossed with a titled double portrait of two girls in Art Nouveau style, Retour by Edmond Becker, the rest plain, the interior gilt, 4.7cm (1 3/4in) diameter; a Swedish square powder compact, national mark, 830S and S only, the cover embossed with Rembrandt's Militia Company of District II under the Command of Captain Frans Banninck Cocq (The Night Watch), 7cm (2 3/4in); a German Jugendstil match book case by Lutz & Weiss, Pforzheim, .800 standard, circa 1905; an Italian lipstick holder, stamped 800 only; and a Japanese basket-of-flowers embossed box, unmarked (6) The second commemorates the restitution of the Alsace territory to France after World War I, circa 1918.
