Comprising a Burmese dha of characteristic form, with curved single-edged blade with incised decoration, silver-mounted hilt with filigree borders, embossed bud-shaped pommel, and grip bound with silver wire, in original wooden scabbard almost entirely covered in silver set with patterns of silver wire and pellets partly against pink foil grounds; a Mongolian white-metal mounted dagger (blade pitted), the hilt and scabbard decorated with symmetrical designs of wirework set with red cabochon corals and turquoises (some missing), the scabbard including a piece of cabochon malachite on each side; a small Turkish jambiya, the waisted hilt and scabbard covered in silvered metal embossed and punched along the inside, the outside set with pieces of fluted red coral and imitation turquoise beads; a Caucasian kindjal with broad tapering double-edged blade (rust patinated) with off-set fuller on each side and traces of a gold-damascened panel on one side, and waisted hilt with dark horn grip-scales (damaged); a Sumatran kris with lightly waved pattern-welded blade, embossed brass mendaq, and figured wooden Garuda hilt (loose), in its wooden scabbard with characteristic sarongan; and a large North African jambiya with engraved brass and white-metal mounts, and wooden grip en suite (6) The first 55 cm. blade
