Beschreibung:

2015, für Sawaya & Moroni, Italien, Edelstahl, gebürstet, Höhe 50 cm, 120 x 120 cm. (DRAX) Unikat This particularly rare piece made in brushed stainless steel is the lower version of the original "Steel Sniper" Dining Table which is edited only into its primary version: steel coated with blackboard type of patina. But the four legs here are projected outwards from the lower center and connected plastically to the edhs of the top they support. The construction is made in thick brushed stainless steel with curved set-back edges. The stainless steel gives to this table a special dimension and lightness which results quite different from the iron table version with a slate base lacquer oven baked finishing. The tops plastic form stresses the monolithic, sculptural and architectural appearance of a table that was devised as a landmark presence on the domestic scene.
