Song Dynasty The first moulded with a central medallion and six panels of flowering lotus and foliage to the interior, covered in a blue-tinged glaze; the second with rounded sides rising from a short foot, delicately carved to the exterior with freely drawn lotus sprays, the glaze falling short of the rim and pooling to a deep turquoise blue around the foot.
