Sutherland, and inscribed A representation of the Ships 'Amelia Wilson' & 'Castor' off the Island of Bouro, with their boats and crew in the various process of fishing, showing the manner the Spermacetti Whales are caught, also the mode of cutting them into the ship & boiling the oil upon deck. Framed; 31 x 23 in. (sight), 35 x 27 in. (frame). Provenance: Property of N. Flayderman & Co. Condition: Toning of the paper and the appearance of spoiling, but might be caused by dirty glass on the frame. Housed in its original frame.
