Clark Company, 1926. 8vo, rust cloth, gilt spine, no dj, 349pp. Signed on 3rd fep, with note that the owner met Foreman in South Africa in 1925. Moderate shelf wear, especially at spine ends and corners. Toning of uncut edges of leaves, but internally clean. Taylor, Bayard. Eldorado, or, Adventures in the Path of Empire: Comprising a Voyage to California, via Panama; Life in San Francisco and Monterey; Pictures of the Gold Region, and Experiences of Mexican Travel. New York: George P. Putnam, 1850, 2 vols. 12mo, green embossed cloth, gilt spines, 251, 247pp plus 12 pp publisher's ads. Boards rough, with parts of spines missing, heavy sunning. Moderate to heavy foxing on some pages. Riddle, Kenyon. Records and maps of the Old Santa Fe Trail. Raton (NM): Publ. by the author, 1949. Signed on tp with 1952 date. 8vo, black cloth with gilt front and spine, pictorial endpapers on front, back has pocket with five 13 x 17.5 in. maps, heavy paper scale and ad for new edition of the book. Light toning along edge of map that was on top and extending from edge of pocket, the rest are excellent. Light overall toning. Light surface soil on boards. Lavender, David.
