♡ § NANCY BORLASE (1914-2006) Full Moon and Birds c.1998 oil on canvas in artist's made frame initialled lower right: NB inscribed verso: NANCY BORLASE/ 6/21 MOSMAN ST MOSMAN/ 2088 NSW. FULL MOON and BIRDS/ 1998-2000 76 x 91cm PROVENANCE: Lawsons, Sydney, 26 June 2014, Private collection, Melbourne Estimate $900-1,200 Condition: The painting has been cleaned and stablised by a professional conservator in 2017 (conservator's report available upon request). There are faint cracks visible only upon very close inspection. As noted in the conservator's report, these are now entirely stable but visible. Some original paint is apparent on the inside of the timber frame (inherent). Overall framed size 77.5 x 93cm. The opinions expressed in the condition reports are a guide only and should not be treated as a statement of fact.
