This supplement to the Summa of Bartholomaeus de Sancto Concordio comes from the press of Vindelino da Spira, first printer at Venice with his brother Johan. Illuminated initial within 3/4 illuminated border.with berries and fruits and an armorial shield, smaller initials in red and blue (occasional worm tracks, some spotting). Modern pigskin over wooden boards. Provenance: armorial shield, argent? a bend gules, with the imperial eagle in chief and the initials 'C.P', perhaps belonging to the Tinti family of Cremona – manuscript poem is copied on the first blank, “Dux Calabrie ad oratorem Venetum,” which is also extant in a 15th-century Italian manuscript (Q114, Schneeberg Gymnasialbibliothek), about Roberto Malatesta, followed by a short historical note about his military career.
