A fine and large 18K pink gold and enamel openface musical keywound watch Unsigned, cuvette bearing the signature Breguet, No. 19548, circa 1850 With gilt-finished jewelled cylinder movement, plain three arm brass balance, quarter repeating on two hammers onto a gong, musical cylindrical pin barrel, gold cuvette, the two-colour gilt engine-turned dial with Breguet numerals on blank chapter ring, blued steel moon-style hands, centred by an engraved scene depicting a cupid in chariot drawn by a lion, in large circular case with ribbed bezel, band and rim, the reverse with an oval cartouche with engraved scene depicting a Cupid and a lady in a classical landscape, surrounded by a blue and white champlevé enamel foliage border, all protected under a glazed cover, repeating through the pendant, music activated by depressing a button in the band, unsigned 63 mm. diam.
