Lawrence, T.E. A COLLECTION OF TWO AUTOGRAPH LETTERS SIGNED, A PHOTOGRAPH OF LAWRENCE AT AKABA, AND OTHER PHOTOGRAPHS, COMPRISING: Autograph letter signed "TE Lawrence", to F.J. Seaton shortly after his return from Arabia "...Our last month (September) was a very exciting one, and we did very well. I'm so glad it ended successfully... Akaba has been evacuated..." and giving news of fellow Hejaz veterans, Joyce, Davenport, Goslett, Sterling and Marshall, and commenting "...I hope there will not be another affair of fighting in our time... Some day that little business in Arabia will be famous..."; and condoling with him on the loss of his son; with original envelope (in another hand) addressed to "Arm Staff Sergt. F.J. Seaton, A.O. Corps, c/o O.C. Troops, Rabegh, Arabia", 4 pages, on headed paper, dust-soiled, separating at folds, 8vo, Carlton Hotel, Pall Mall, London, 25 December 1918 Autograph letter signed "TE Shaw", to "H.W." [Henry Williamson], asking if Williamson will be at home on Sunday next as "I am to be free all day (free days are like rubies to me now)... Life is being pretty hectic here. Paper up to my eyes and jobs steadily accumulating. All R.A.F. work, of course"; with original envelope addressed to "Henry Williamson Esq., Skirr Cottage, Georgeham, N. Devon", one page, headed "338171 A/C Shaw, R.A.F. Cattewater, Plymouth, 25 June 1929 Photograph of "Major Lawrence, C.B./ Akaba. Dec. '17", in a small album of photographs belonging to an airman with No. 1 Squadron of the Australian Flying Corps, who served in the Palestine Campaign Collection of small snapshot photographs including images of the Arab Legion, "Emir Saud", "Emir Abdullah", and others mostly taken in Transjordan and Egypt, with some negatives, together with letters and postcards from Flight Lieutenant Frank Porter to his wife and family (Transjordan and Palestine, c.1935)
