θ Michael Rothenstein (1908-1993) Seven Colours The deluxe portfolio, 1974, comprising seven woodcuts with screenprint in colours and a separate suite of the same, with the special black woodcuts and the extensively hand-embellished study of the paint tube included only in the first five copies, all of the prints signed in pencil, with the title-page, text and justification, this copy signed by the artist, poet and both printers in ink, numbered from the deluxe edition of 5, aside from the standard edition of 20, co-printed by Shelley Rose and Sebastian Carter, Argus Studio, Stisted, published by Rampant Lion Press, Cambridge, on Barcham Green wove paper, the sheets loose as issued within the original oatmeal linen portfolio box, overall 575 x 400mm (22 3/4 x 15 3/4in) This copy is sold with certificate of authenticity from the Rampant Lion Press, 1975.
