(4to) tan blind stamped cloth with pictorial dust jacket. No. 212 of 1000 specially bound copies. First Edition. Signed by Catlett on the front free endpaper. Includes laid in pamphlet, "A Note on the Production of 'The Art of Elizabeth Catlett'." This copy lacking the original print, as is usual. Elizabeth Catlett was an African American graphic artist and sculptor best known for her depictions of the African-American experience in the 20th century, which often had the female experience as their focus. Lot Amendments Condition: Slight wear to dust jacket; a few tiny spots on endpapers; near fine. Item number: 270621
