Beschreibung:

Two quarto hardbound volumes, both bound in green cloth with gilt lettering to the spine but not uniform, the binding of the first being fairly modern, but that of the second being much earlier. The first, in sound and clean condition, holds Volume 20, issues 637, January 4th, 1908 to 662, June 27th, 1908, bound without covers/advertisements, with title page and index pages at the front. The content is in excellent, clean condition. The second holds Volume 21, issues 663, July 4th, 1908 to 688, December 26th, 1908. There is some damp-staining to the first two issues and repairs to the first four pages, with a little loss of text. Similarly, the final issue has some damp-staining, with some text/illustration loss to pages 1039/1040. Some issues have browning to the pages. The issues are bound without covers, and the volume has no title page or index pages, but appears to be in sound condition apart from the faults mentioned. (2)
