First Edition. Scarce and early book on the legendary Western outlaws, Jesse and Frank James and their cohorts. Both compiled from reliable sources. Howes B933. Lot Amendments Condition: Rubbing, edge wear, spine leaning, ends and corners a bit bumped; hinges and a 2¼" portion of rear joint carefully repaired, a few signatures off-centers (middle one loose but still attached), light foxing; signature of Clara & Schuyler Wheeler dated 1888; about very good.
