The Collection of Artillery Insignia formed by the late Norman Litchfield Royal Horse Artillery, a rare cast white metal pagri badge for ‘I’ Battery, being a KC over an oval strap ‘Royal Horse Artillery’, with central ‘I’, two plain post fasteners; a fine hand wrought cast silver pagri badge for ‘B’ Battery, being a QVC crowned strap ‘Royal Horse Artillery’ enclosing an ornate old english ‘B’ (pin back); a sheet brass other ranks pagri to ‘K’ Battery, plain brass circle with central fretted ‘K’, two lug fasteners; a very fine die-cast silver pagri badge GVR period, similar to cap badge but smaller, two long loop fasteners, a similar ‘Indian’ made version for GVIR in plated brass and the Royal Cypher mounted; a very scarce large size other ranks KC ‘GVR’ period cast brass pagri badge, similar to cap badge but larger fretted centre with cursive ‘GR’, slider fastener (some service wear); a fine quality bullion embroidered EIIR cap badge on maroon ground; a printed QEC ‘cap badge’ in black/red on ‘green’ khaki ground, good overall condition (8) £150-200
