Ellis, original member and chairman of The Zamorano Club of Los Angeles, with his signature on the front pastedown. The text follows a translation of the original Italian edition published by Pietro Pacini at Florence in 1505 or 1506. This was the first book illustrated by Valenti Angelo for the press.
