(6¼x4¾"), three toned cloth (green, dark green, and black) with gilt vignette of a golfer and gilt-lettering to cover. A social club for golfers, The Links Club is one of America's most exclusive clubs. The club was founded by one of the most prominent figures in American golf, Charles Blair Macdonald, and company in 1916, and the purpose of the club is "...to promote and conserve throughout the United States the best interest and true spirit of the game of golf as embodied in its ancient and honorable traditions, endorsing the rules of the game as it is played in Scotland and as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews..." -page 7. With the names and addresses of the 1921 directors of the corporation ("Links Club, Inc") including C.B. Macdonald, plus Frank L. Crocker, Henry Rogers Winthrop and others. With members list at rear, comprised of the who's who in New York's golf social scene. 1 copy of the annual located by OCLC / Worldcat, at the New York Historical Society Library.
