Korea, rank officially corrected on Korea Medal, otherwise good very fine or better and both named medals rare to regiment (5) £350-400 Footnote Gordon Leo Pacy was born in January 1926 and received an Emergency Commission into the Army in August 1945, being promoted to the rank of Captain in January 1953. Sold with a letter from the Dorset Military Museum confirming that Pacy left the regiment and went into “Intelligence” and that he must have gained the award of his General Service Malaya and Korea Medals whilst on detached duty, as the Dorsets only qualified for the U.N. Korea Medal and were not in Malaya after the war.
