Complete play from the 1632 second folio edition of Shakespeare's works. Prominently featuring Falstaff, the play traces Prince Hal’s path to kingship (as Henry V). Orson Welles deemed Falstaff “Shakespeare’s greatest creation”. Plays from the Second Folio are the earliest obtainable form of Shakespeare's plays at a moderate price. The edition was printed by Thomas Cotes for a consortium of five publishers. The final leaf of the present play has on the recto the Epilogue, and on the verso the Actors Names. It is mis-signed I3. STC 22274. Lot Amendments Condition: A few minor soil marks or spots within; very good or better. Item number: 283406b
