.38-40 WCF caliber, 23.75" octagonal barrel, S/N 355629B (ca. 1890). Blued finish with plain forend and wrist. Blade front sight with semi-buckhorn elevator rear sight. Barrel shows two-line Winchester address and caliber. Third type frame with integral rail. Serial number on lower tang. Condition: Good to very good. Overall dark untouched patina with some thinning on sharp edges. Some dents and blemishes to stock including some deep gouges on right side of butt, but no serious cracks, splits, or other damage. Mechanically fine, bore shows some old pitting and scratches with visible but worn rifling.
