Thirteen Egyptian steatite scarabs Middle Kingdom - New Kingdom, circa 1900-1000 B.C. Including one with a cartouche-shaped base carved with names of Ramesses II, son of Ptah, beloved of Thoth; another with the names of Ramesses II, beloved of Thoth; one with a falcon-headed kilted figure and crocodile; a brown steatite scarab with 'May Khonsu in Thebes give all life and all health' to an unidentified female name (Mut-em-leh) in a cartouche; one engraved with a cartouche for Tuthmosis III, flanked by plumes and uraei; another with symmetrical hieroglyphs; and various others, 12mm-22mm; a corroded metal swivel ring set with a steatite scarab inscribed for Khonsu, 25mm at widest point; and a black steatite scarab, carved with a cartouche, Not Ancient, (15)
