(8vo) 18.5x14 cm (7¼x5½), period morocco rebacked with modern suede, spine stamped in gilt, marbled endpapers, speckled edges.. Scarce work by Thomas Bailey or Bayly (died c. 1657) , a seventeenth-century English religious controversialist, a Royalist Church of England clergyman who converted to Roman Catholicism.
