Each 16 pp. Tall 8vo (250 x 40 mm). Illustrated by Charles J. Costello. Publisher’s decorated self-wrappers. Condition : minor wear and soiling; spines rubbed; a few small tears. Provenance : Fred M. Meyer Collection. rare pamphlets written before ruth plumly thompson became the royal historian of oz . Thompson shrewdly retained the copyrights of her magazine and newspaper work. The Murray pamphlets reprinted verses first published in the Sunday supplement of the Philadelphia Public Ledger in 1919. [With:] Collection of seven tearsheets from the Sunday edition of the Philadelphia Public Ledger .
