one of the side glass panels has a hairline crack (rear panel); the three other side glass panels and large bottom glass panel appear to be in good, undamaged condition; the top glass panel appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition from an examination on the exterior side, however, the underside is not visible for an examination from the interior side because it is covered with a fabric panel; the metal beaded trim and filigree work appear to be in generally good condition, i.e., no losses or indication of repair; there are a few very small dings to at least two of corner side edges (one in the front and one at the rear), not of any real consequence; no locking key; interior trays are worn, consistent with age and usage; patina now uniformly dulled in appearance, consistent with age and handling
