The third issue was published in purple boards with a decimal price sticker. Deals in layers of ultra-violence and is the basis for the 1971 Stanley Kubrick film, which was nominated for four Academy Awards. With three rubberstamps from the Library of Congress on the copyright page and verso of the contents page, one dated 1963. The Library of Congress, when placing their stamps on books, do so for American copyright, thus making this copy one of only a few (at most) for this title in their possession.
