Tooley notes that "Though the map is based on De l'Isle and appears under his name it has been redrawn with a redesigned titlepiece. It shows a large sea of the west above C. Blanc and, further north, the Russian discoveries of 1730. Improvements and additions are also made to the islands of the Pacific." Tooley, R.V. (Amer) p.17, #20.
