to the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire Maximilian II in Regensburg: a copy of the painted engraving (woodcut) of 1576. The end of 1870 - the beginning of 1880. 4 p. glued together in length. 43x146 cm. Colouring in watercolour by hand. The engraving depicts the embassy of Tsar Ivan the Terrible sent in 1576 to Vienna to the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire Maximilian II and met by him in Regensburg. Authorship is attributed to Donat Hübschmann (ca. 1525 / 30-1583); also attributed to Jost Amman Printed by Michael Petterle / Peterle; (1576-1595) in Prague.
