Late 18th-late 19th century Comprising twelve prints: two by Kiyonaga, including a hosoban of the actor Ichikawa Yaozo and one titled Onna Fuzoku Jussun Kagami (*1), both signed Kiyonaga ga; one by the Torii School titled Fukagawa Hakkei (*2), one hosoban actor print attributed to Kiyomitsu III, one memorial portrait of an actor by the Utagawa School; two chuban bijin-ga, one by Shunsho from the series 'Day and Night Views of Annual Events', signed Katsukawa Shunsho ga (*3), the other by Shuncho depicting a geisha re-stringing a shamisen, signed Shuncho ga (*4), a sheet from a triptych depicting a parody of Mount Kurama by Utagawa Kunimitsu, signed Kunimitsu ga (*5), one by Toyohiro from the series Ozashiki Ningyo Chushingura signed Toyohiro ga (*6), one print after Masanobu; one print after Kiyonobu, and a facsimile print after Shunman. The smallest 21.5cm x 16cm (8½in x 6¼in), the largest 42.3cm x 24.9cm (16 5/8in x 9¾in), some mounted on cardboard. (12).
