TWO BOEOTIAN TERRACOTTA FIGURES Circa 500 B.C. One in the form of a female protome with elaborately dressed hair, her hands to her breasts, pierced for suspension at the back; the other a standing figure of a woman on high rectangular base, wearing a peplos and flaring polos headdress, a large rectangular vent hole at the back, both repaired with restoration 11 3/8in. (28.8cm.) and 13 1/8in. (33.3cm.) high respectively (2)
