TWO BÖTTGER FLARED TEABOWLS painted with two figures beside a tower and bridge in a mountainous wooded landscape and with Oriental figures by boats on a quayside beneath cloudy skies within elaborate gilt and feathered brown scroll and Böttger lustre panelled quatrefoil cartouches, the interior with a purple landscape beneath a gilt scroll and flowerhead border, the second painted with chinoiserie figures taking tea and squating beside tables in similar cartouches (rim chip, both with rubbing to gilt rims), the first with gilder's T., the second with gilder's i., both with Dreher's to footrims, circa 1725 (2)
