Two Dutch silver spoons The first with maker's mark possibly that of Lucas Stender (see Citroen, p. 83), Rotterdam, 1647; the second with maker's mark a tulip or flower, Zierikzee, date letter T, circa 1700 Both with part-spirally fluted stem, one terminating in an eagle supporting a shield, with fig-shaped plain bowl, the stem engraved GPVW ; the other with knop finial, with fig-shaped bowl engraved with flowers and foliage, the stem engraved with initials IA , marked on bowls 19.3 and 20.3 cm. long 88 gr.
