Note: Leroy Ramon Archuleta (b. 1949), is a second generation woodcarver, born and still living in Tesuque, New Mexico. His father was master carver Felipe Archuleta (1910-1991). Leroy has developed his own recognizable style, carving life-size creatures from cottonwood. In the fall of 1998, the Albuquerque Museum held an exhibit of his work called "Leroy's Zoo."
