TWO GEORGE II SILVER SAUCEBOATS MARK OF WILLIAM CRIPPS LONDON, 1750 AND 1754 Each oval and on pad feet with quilted legs, with quilted scroll handle, engraved with a crest below an earl's coronet, each marked underneath, further engraved with a scratchweight '14=19=0' and '15=7' 8½ in. (21.5 cm.) wide 28 oz. 8 dwt. (884 gr.) The crest is that of the Earls of Sandwich almost certainly for John, 4th Earl of Sandwich (1718-1792). (2)
