A movement with Debaufre double wheel escapement a) Signed Henry Courvoisier-Faure, Locle, Suisse, circa 1825, b) signed Olivier Quartier, Locle en Suisse, No. 353, circa 1835 a) the frosted gilt chain fusee movement jewelled to the third with screwed chatons, free sprung bimetallic balance with ruby endstone, blued steel helical spiral, Earnshaw spring detent escapement, steel system for crown winding to the fusee and floating wheel arrangement for setting the hands, white enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds b) the frosted gilt going barrel movement with Debaufre's escapement, monometallic balance and flat blued steel hairspring, cream coloured dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds a) 44 mm., b) 45 mm.
