Both are signed by Virgil Ross in his distinctive signature. They are professionally matted and framed together. Each image measures approximately 9x11½, together with frame measures 17½x33½. Virgil Ross (d.1996) is best known for his Looney Toons animation, however he did work on the 1982 television special "The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat," and likely these are concept drawings for that production. They come with two certificates of authenticity from American Royal Arts Company identifying their source as Turner Entertainment Co.
