TWO PAIRS OF GEORGE III SILVER MEAT DISHES ONE PAIR MARK OF EDWARD FERNELL, LONDON, 1788, THE OTHER MARK OF FOGELBERG & GILBERT, LONDON, 1792 Each shaped oval, with molded gadrooned rim, the larger pair engraved on one side with Royal arms and the initials GR and a coat-of-arms on the other, the smaller pair engraved on one side with Royal badge and a coat-of-arms on the other, the larger pair engraved with the monogram WK on the reverse, the smaller pair engraved with the monogram W on the reverse, the larger pair engraved with scratch weights, 45=7 on one and 43=9 on the other, each marked on reverse The larger pair 16 in.
