TWO SIMILAR GILT LACQUER EIGHT-FOLD SCREENS 19TH CENTURY Each screen is delicately decorated in shades of gilt and pewter inlay, one side features scenes of figures farming, weaving, hunting, and at leisure, all within a border of confronting dragons chasing the flaming pearl on one screen, and various longtailed birds on the other.
