TWO SMALL MEISSEN MYTHOLOGICAL FIGURE GROUPS EARLY 20TH CENTURY, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, INCISED 1615. AND 1775., IMPRESSED 147 AND 2, RESPECTIVELY, THE SECOND PAINTED 61. The first modelled as the goddess Ceres, a bundle of wheat in one arm, her dragon at her feet, the second as Flora or Venus, a cornucopia of flowers in one arm, attended by two putti, both on rocaille-moulded bases 4½ in.
