TWO WHITE JADE CARVINGS QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY The first of archaistic bi -form, carved on one flattened side in high relief with a Buddhistic lion in pursuit of a beribboned brocade ball, followed by its cub in pursuit, all surrounding the circular aperture, the reverse side with C-shaped motifs in shallow relief; the other is an oval pendent, carved in relief on one side with a scholar holding a cup, seated beside an ornamental rock, under a pine tree, the reverse side with a poem in reference to the Tang poet, Li Bo 2 3/8 in.
