I-VIII were first published in Philadelphia, then reprinted by the Government Printing Office in 1880. Vol. I includes the final reports by chairman of the various committees; vols. II-VIII cover the reports and awards of each section; vol. IX is a larger quarto volume (here in its original Lippincott issue) and covers the grounds and buildings and vol. X is a long report primarily on the War Department's participation at the exhibition. Vol. XI is a report on the other U.S. government departmental exhibits. (11)
