Unpublished work but accompanied by Klossowski's autograph letter to the parents of the current owner who is depicted in the work in natural size. In the letter, dated "Paris ce 18 Mai 92" the artist writes: “Ce tableau […] est bien mon œuvre. De quoi me replonger dans les circonstances de sa composition et me faire revivre, avec quelle émotion, ce mois d’Aout 1977 vécu dans votre idyllique résidence d’Annunziata”.
