UTAGAWA KUNISADA: oban tate-e (36.8 x 29.6 cm. ea. approx.); Kanjin ozumo kogyo no zu " Kanjin (temple solicitation) wrestling match", a triptych of the big match between Hidenoyama and Koyanagi with wrestlers from the Eastern Group observing from the left panel and wrestlers from the Western Group observing from the right panel, each identified by name in the cartouches above the scene, signed Kochoro Toyokuni ga and Oju (by order) Ichiyosai Toyokuni hitsu and published by Aritaya Kiyoemon; together with a chuban diptych of a wrestling match between Kashiwado and Aioi, signed Kochoro Kunisada ga and published by Wakasaya Yoichi- good impressions, slightly faded, small worming and tears restored, especially toward corners. the second faded and stained (5)
