VaYakhel Moshe, on "Kabbalist truths of the wisdom of the Ari" and teachings of the Zohar. Rabbi Moshe ben Menachem (Graff) of Prague. Dessau, 1698. First edition with approbations of leading rabbis of the times, such as Rabbi David Oppenheim and Rabbi Shimshon Wertheimer of Vienna. Kabbalistic illustrations. In the middle of the article Adam D'Atzilut, illustrated chart of the Ilan of the "Zaken HaKadosh" with "13 Tikunei Dikna… D'Meheimnuta". On the leaf before the title page are handwritten inscriptions testifying that the book belongs to Rabbi David Deutsch Av Beit Din of the Balassagyarmat community, signed by his son, Moshe Deutsch. On the verso of the leaf is his son's stamp: Rabbi "Yosef Yisrael Deutsch, Av Beit Din of the Yarmat community". Rabbi Aharon David Deutsch (1813-1878), author of Goren David, studied with the Chatam Sofer who praised his disciple's fear of G-d and said that he relies on his prayers. On another occasion, the Chatam Sofer said that Rabbi Aharon David is prepared to merit the World to Come. The Ktav Sofer would greet him in Shabbat attire upon his visiting the city of Pressburg. From 1846, he served as Av Beit Din of Sebeș and from 1856, for 27 years, he served in the Balassagyarmat rabbinate. [See HaChatam Sofer V'Talmidav, pp. 49-52]. His son Rabbi Moshe Deutsch (1856-1931) assisted his father in the management of the yeshiva in Balassagyarmat, and from 1875, he served as Av Beit Din of Salgótarján. His son Rabbi Yosef Yisrael Deutsch (1845-1927), author of Ben Garni, served as Av Beit Din of Szendrő and from 1878 succeeded his father in the Balassagyarmat rabbinate. 14; 58 leaves. 19 cm. Good condition, wear and stains. Ancient, worn, semi-leather binding.
