She was a soprano who had sung the leading soprano rôles in the premieres of I Lombardi and Giovanna d'Arco . Her repertory also included Ernani, Rigoletto, Trovatore and Traviata . Her interpretations contributed to Verdi's success in Paris. Possibly the project Verdi writes about was the casting of a new production. Apparently unpublished.
