Titled "Nag-A-Rash, or British" in the negative, ca 1869. Also with a portrait of a man wearing a breastplate with a patterned vest and shirt, with a paper caption affixed to mount below photograph reading, "Horse Back's Son" and inscription specifying, "Comanche, I.T." Provenance:American Indian Photography Collection of John W. Painter (1929-2008) Condition: Both with mild staining and surface soil. Pinhole along top edge of Nag-A-Rash photograph.
