Title: Walter Hagen's "Hole-in-One Club" certificate Author: ** Place: [Grand Rapids, MI] Publisher: Date: August 21, 1949 Description: 8x10½ partially printed and hand-written certificate, made out to Elmer Salisbury, for a hole-in-one at hole number 4, 115 yards on the Westvale Golf course. Signed in fountain pen by Walter Hagen. Framed and mattered (13x15½ overall). Established with the Wilson Sporting Goods, Walter Hagen, would sign an official certificate to those who submitted their name, location, date of hole in one, hole and length. The Westvale Golf Course is located just outside Syracuse, New York. Originally designed and built in 1930, later improved with many changes inspired by Robert Trent Jones Not examined outside of frame. Lot Amendments Condition: Mild darkening, small hole with tears to top left corner, a few old repairs, a 2¼" tear to top middle, else very good, in a nice and clean wooden frame. Item number: 167357
