Waterloo 1815 (William Alcock 2nd Batt. Grenad. Guards.) fitted with original steel clip and replacement ring suspension, good very fine £1,600-£2,000 Footnote William Alcock was born in East Grinstead, Sussex, and enlisted in 1803. He served in Lieutenant-Colonel Fitzroy Somerset's Company at Waterloo. He was admitted to an out-pension at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, on 4 October 1816 suffering from ‘Deficient sight’, and died on 1 February 1833.
