Early 20th-century cloth. Second edition of Willis' treatise on shorthand based on the common alphabet, a system very similar to that of his contemporary namesake, John Willis STC 25742. OTWAY, Thomas (1652-1685). Venice Preserv'd, or a Plot Discovered. A Tragedy . London: for J. Hindmarsh, 1682. 4° (217 x 161mm). (Some discolouration and spotting, library stamp on title). 19th-century red boards (worn, upper cover detached). FIRST EDITION. Wing O567.
