WW1 or inter-war period British officer’s boots. The wooden trees each named on the top to P T Tower and these were formerly the property of Major-General Philip Thomas Tower, CB, DSO, MBE. Tower saw service throughout WW2 in North Africa, Western Europe (including Arnhem) and the relief of Norway. Later in his career he served in the Aden Emergency.
