Second Edition in English of vol. 1 (the first part of The Family Robinson Crusoe ), FIRST EDITION in English of Vol. 2 (the continuation), engraved frontispiece and 5 plates after H. Corbauld ( some light foxing ), engraved folding map, leaf at end of vol. 1 regarding the continuation. The first part of The Family Robinson Crusoe was originally published in Zurich in 1812; it was first issued in English in a two-volume format by Mary J. Godwin, also in 1814.
